Small Wins to Big Success

In our 6 Week New Year Makeover Program  we spend a lot of time working with people on how to get the most out of their goals in life. We understand that fitness and health is the avenue in which to help live a healthier and happier life, and we want to support that with our members. We see so many people fall short with their goals because they haven't set the type of goals to help them be the most successful.

Two parts of becoming more successful are having a vision, and then creating the CORRECT action plan to succeed. This is what we do in our 6 Week New Year Makeover Program, and these are the types of tools we want to help you succeed with too.

Having a Vision for the Future

Hands on Goal Setting Workshop

After we create a vision for our life, we need to figure out the best way to get there. Our mission is how we will achieve our vision. 

I go into this in greater detail in the Goal Setting Workshop.   But we need to create 3-5 action items in the next year, 3 months, and 1 month to focus on.

The important part is to continue to focus on these action items.  We call it focusing on the process, and not the outcome.

We still want to have our outcome in mind, that is our vision. That helps us make decisions, however, focusing on the process, our mission, is what will help us to stay focused, not get overwhelmed, and create a higher chance of success. The process always will turn into the outcome, but without a process, there will be no outcome.

The mission needs to be measurable, and specific, and looked at consistently to see if on or off track. Those that can get in the habit of focusing on their habits always tend to be more successful. 

Think of it in terms of weight loss, instead of focusing always on the scale, focus instead on the daily habits you created for yourself like, getting in 3-4 workouts a week, in bed for 7 hours a day, or drinking 80 oz. of water a day.

If we learn to be successful in just hitting our habits we will eventual reach our outcome.

Focusing on being successful in these small wins, will eventually result in a big success for you.

This is exactly what we with our members in our 6 Week New Year Makeover Program. We have everyone work one on one with a coach to set our outcome goals, and then develop a process of action goals to hit daily that works best for the individual.  

We then track it with a daily accountability question in our Coaching App to help support you along the way and keep you accountable to the process.
