Jennifer's Transformation
0:00 Jennifer Tyler's age 36, live here in Washington, Township, north of 26 ma, and joined Raul roughly 7 months ago, this to really gain self confidence again. 0:13 I mean, of course, losing weight and getting in shape was key to that, but I was at an all-time low, like beyond depressed and everything in my life was fantastic, like jaw-up, family, health.
0:24 but I was just unsatisfied of myself, so it was really just to gain the confidence of myself again. It was on my 36th birthday, sitting at home, moping around, again being highly depressed, trying to reflect, especially on your birthday.
0:36 Trying to reflect, like, you know, they're older, but if I achieved where am I at, where do I want to go? 0:41 moping on the couch scrolling through Instagram, I came across your guys post, and I just knew like, I'm ready now.
0:47 I wasn't in the past, I never committed in the past, but I think I had to get to that all-time low for me to say enough as enough let's do this. 0:55 And I was at that point. Accountability was a struggle. Can I not push myself and force myself? And thankfully, withdraw, you guys do that.
1:02 You guys hold us accountable to have a show up, make us water show up, to keep things fun. So yeah, it's really just been that accountability part to push. 1:13 I felt like you had my back when we talked and that you weren't going to let me give up. been throw on the towel and you were going to kick my rear if I wanted to give up so you gave me that confidence to say this is the time and I'm going to push you whether you're like it or not and that's what I need
1:27 . You guys have been kind of the communications with me pushing, told me the right from the wrongs and as much as I didn't give up you guys didn't give up on me. 1:36 It was probably the best gym experience I've ever had. Like the camaraderie here is fantastic. You have full-small different ages, races, sizes, and we're all here who are doing each other for the same thing.
1:49 And my honest thing helps too is that there's no mirrors here. So you can't be paranoid about yourself, or try to watch other people, in which I think helps too. 1:58 But just to hear each other, like, don't give up, keep going. And I don't know the person next to me, right?
2:04 But we still push each other that way. So the commodities went faster. We'll have to the first six weeks I was down.
2:09 I remember, I think 11 pounds, 10 and a half inches, alone just feeling how the clothes fit was a fantastic feeling and you start your day off better going into work, just knowing that you feel better about yourself. 2:23 Since then, I've lost additional weight. I was at 25 pounds down last week or the week before. Two pan size is a shirt size.
2:32 I've up my weights tremendously. I used to always start with the 10 pound weights today. I was at 35 for one of them.
2:37 So we're getting there, But just to feel better about yourself, you start your day off differently. I feel like I've been a better spouse that are mom, because I'm more active. 2:47 My daughter gets mad when she can't come with me here, because she wants to work out, but all around, I just start my day off better in a lot more positive.
2:55 I'm excited, I'm eager. I don't dread taking the dog for a walk and this whole weather anymore, because I'm like, I'm getting my steps in, the dogs happy, right? 3:04 I don't even have the feeling laundry of, I gotta go back upstairs and get this. I'm not dread going back up the stairs again, like I'm excited, so keep moving and doing things. 3:15 So it's really just a whole different level of energy and positivity that I have now. Definitely being more present with my family. 3:21 Instead of sitting and moping and being depressed, saying, come on, let's get up, let's go. Let's hit the Peloton downstairs at school for a while. 3:28 Take the dog to the dog park, just to have that energy to engage more with my family, has been the biggest impact.
3:34 Take the chance, take the risk, and put you got to be committed. Like be not just physically ready but mentally ready. 3:42 I've had some friends join that the first few weeks they didn't see results and I said stay committed, stay committed and then few weeks later everything was dropping and shaping up. 3:51 You have to stay committed. Exercising personally is the easiest part. The nutrition is the hardest and I've had my days of, you know, I'm going to have a burger today instead of just having to take you need those days once in a while before the most part, like you need to stay on the nutrition.
4:05 It is the hardest part, take that for a step. Once you take that first step, the team here is going to help you take the rest. 4:11 I mean, you guys have changed my life. Really, I've met some amazing people here. Again, the camaraderie is fantastic. All rooting for each other, the communication we have with each other.
4:21 Even though we don't know each other's first names, sometimes we're all here for the same day. So I'm beyond thankful to the founder on, I had this life-changing impact because it's I'm going to keep going.
